Meet Dr. Ross Cohen, Glen Burnie Foot Doctor, Board Certified Podiatrist & Surgeon
Ross Cohen, DPM
Dr. Cohen was born in Philadelphia and lived in Kansas for a short time before moving to Williamsport Pennsylvania when he was nine years old. He attended Wilkes University in Wilkes Barre Pennsylvania and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
After college he moved back to Philadelphia and attended Temple University receiving his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree in 1991. He then spent three years at The Graduate Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he trained to perform foot and ankle surgery.
In 1994 he moved to Maryland and started his practice. He has been active at Baltimore Washington Medical Center since 1994 and served as Chairman of the Podiatry Department for 17 years. He has also served on several hospital committees including, Medical Executive Committee, Medical Records Committee, and Credentialing Committee. He has been a clinician at the Wound Healing Center, Baltimore Washington Medical Center since 2001. He has been a member of the Executive Committee for the Maryland Podiatric Medical Association since 1999.
He has over 25 years experience in foot and ankle surgery. His areas of interest include bunions, hammertoes, wound care, biomechanics and reconstructive foot/ankle surgery and limb salvage.
